03 May Beyond visible
After a long time far from galleries and exhibitions, I will have my work presented in an exhibition in Madrid, at Rughara art space.
The human eye can only perceive a small part of the luminous spectrum, this part is known as visible spectrum. The infrared photography can capture waves beyond that spectrum.
The series “Beyond visible” comprises infrared, black and white photographs of Icelandic landscapes. Photos that capture what the naked eye cannot see. Evocative arctic landscapes represented in a poetic way, treated with a precise technique and view.
The photographs are printed on high quality photographic paper, using long life pigment inks, then mounted on dibond.
The exhibition will be open from May 5th to 31st in Rughara, Madrid.
