The human eye can only perceive a small part of the luminous spectrum. Infrared photography is able to capture waves beyond this range of perception, showing us light that is invisible to our naked eyes.

The series “Beyond the visible” comprises infrared, black and white photographs of Icelandic landscapes. Photos that capture what the naked eye cannot see. Evocative arctic landscapes represented in a poetic way, treated with a precise technique and an unconventional viewpoint.

Take a look at my film from the same series, Melancholia.
